Non-Sunroof, RoW 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupe 6-Speed

This rest-of-world 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S was ordered without a sunroof and with Aerokit front and rear spoilers and X79 quarter panel air inlets. Finished in Polar Silver Metallic over black leather, it is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a short-ratio G64/21 six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes an Automatic Brake Differential, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, integrated brake cooling ducts, power-adjustable front seats, power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, and Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system.

The 993 C4S features wider rear bodywork in comparison with the standard Carrera, and this example was optioned in the style of the Turbo S with X79 quarter panel intakes and Aerokit front and rear spoilers. Finished in Polar Silver Metallic (92M), it has been refinished and features integrated brake cooling ducts, headlight washers, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets.

The silver-finished 18″ Turbo Twist alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by red-finished Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.

The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in black leather and complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include power windows, cruise control, aluminum pedals, air conditioning, a HiFi sound system, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 300-km/h speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 78k kilometers (~48k miles), approximately 1,200 of which were added under current ownership.
