Coyote-Powered 1971 Ford Bronco

This 1971 Ford Bronco was refurbished and modified in 2024, and it is powered by a Gen3 5.0-liter Coyote V8 linked with a 10-speed automatic transmission, a twin-stick Dana 20 transfer case, and rebuilt front and rear axles with 4.10:1 gears. The exterior was refinished in white and fitted with a roll cage, a bikini top, retractable side steps, and chrome bumpers, and the truck rides on body and suspension lifts, the latter of which features dual Bilstein shocks at each corner. Polished 17″ Ion wheels are mounted over Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and the cab was fitted with air conditioning, a JVC touchscreen head unit, aftermarket audio equipment, Dakota Digital gauges, and brown diamond-quilted leather covering the seats and interior panels.

The truck is finished in white and features a black roll cage and a tan bikini top. The emblems, chrome trim, bumpers, door handles, weather seals, windshield, and door latches and strikers were replaced during the build. Further details include retractable side steps, LED headlights, and a body-color grille. The truck rides on a lifted suspension with dual Bilstein shocks at each corner, and a body lift was installed to accommodate the modified drivetrain. Polished 17″ Ion wheels are mounted with 265/70 Cooper Evolution M/T tires that display date codes from 2024. The truck is equipped with manually locking hubs up front along with a Borgeson power steering unit, and braking is provided by hydroboosted four-wheel Wilwood discs.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in brown diamond-quilted leather that extends to the center armrest and doors. German square-weave carpeting lines the footwells and floors. A locking center console houses a touchscreen JVC head unit with Apple CarPlay, and further appointments include heated front seats, air conditioning, cupholders, billet transfer case selectors, and a Wet Sounds amplifier linked to a Kicker subwoofer and Exile Audio speakers.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits on an Ididit column and fronts an upholstered dash pad and a Dakota Digital instrument cluster. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, which is said to represent the mileage added since the completion of the build. Total mileage is unknown.
