About this truck & 4x4

This 1973 Ford Bronco was refurbished and modified in 2011 with work that involved repainting the body and removable hardtop white, and was purchased by the owner in 2012. Subsequent work involved installing Hellwig sway bars, rear traction bars, Bilstein 5160 remote-reservoir shocks, a quick-ratio steering box, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and additional components as detailed below. Power is provided by a 289ci V8 with Edelbrock induction and MSD ignition, and the C4 three-speed automatic transmission is connected to a dual-range transfer case and a Dana 44 front differential. Aftermarket front bucket seats and the rear bench are trimmed in two-tone gray and accompanied by a four-point 3″ roll bar, front shoulder belts, an under-dash Vintage Air air conditioning unit, and a Sony stereo. Additional equipment includes a hitch-mounted Warn winch, a swing-away rear tire carrier, Warn locking front hubs, 16″ Mickey Thompson alloy wheels, and fabricated steel bumpers with integrated receiver hitches.

The truck was refinished in white under previous ownership, and features a matching removable hardtop as well as rear wheel-arch flares. Details include a front LED light bar, a swing-away rear tire carrier, and gray-finished fabricated steel bumpers with receiver hitches front and rear. A hitch-mounted Warn winch is included and pictured in the gallery.

Polished 16″ Mickey Thompson alloy wheels are wrapped in 305/70 Goodyear Wrangler tires and mounted over Warn manually locking hubs up front. The truck has power steering via a quick-ratio steering box, and is further equipped with Hellwig front and rear sway bars, rear traction bars, and Bilstein 5160 remote-reservoir shocks. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with slotted rotors.

The cabin features aftermarket front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in two-tone gray vinyl along with coordinated carpets and door panel inserts. A four-point 3″ roll bar is installed along with front shoulder belts and an under-dash Vintage Air air conditioning unit. The Sony stereo unit is linked to to aftermarket speakers in the doors and rear side panels.

The Tom’s Bronco Parts steering wheel is mounted aft of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 2,300 miles.
