This 1966 Ford Bronco began life as a half-cab pickup and was modified as a wagon under prior ownership. A 351ci Windsor V8, an AOD four-speed automatic transmission, and a replacement dual-range transfer case were also installed, and the cabin was redone with aftermarket black seats, a locking center console, a roll bar, and an aftermarket steering wheel. Additional equipment includes a 3″ suspension lift, 15″ aluminum wheels, an Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum radiator, ceramic-coated headers, and a dual exhaust system.
Previously finished in red and originally configured as a half-cab pickup, the Bronco was converted to a wagon under prior ownership. A replacement tailgate, fenders, quarter panels, floors, pillars, and firewall sheet metal were installed during the refurbishment under current ownership, and a fiberglass hood and black wheel arch extensions were added. The Bronco was repainted metallic gray while the removable hardtop was refinished in black, and additional work involved replacing the glass, exterior lighting, door handles, bumpers, mirrors, and wiper motor.
The 15″ aluminum wheels are wrapped in 33×12.5″ Hankook tires. The Bronco is equipped with Warn manually locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums, which were refreshed during the refurbishment. The brake booster, master cylinder, and lines were also replaced and a brake proportioning valve was added. James Duff shocks are fitted at each corner.
The cabin features aftermarket black bucket seats and a rear bench. A roll bar has been added, and replacement carpets and door panels were installed during the build. Additional appointments include a locking center console, three-point seat belts, an AM/FM radio, twin transfer case shifters, and a cabin heater.
The aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts replacement instrumentation, including a 100-mph speedometer encircled by auxiliary gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 10 miles since completion of the refurbishment.
