About this car

This ’33 Ford roadster was rebuilt as a show car in 2024 at a reported cost of over $225k, and it is powered by a 255ci flathead V8 topped by triple Stromberg 97 carburetors and linked with a Modern Driveline T5 five-speed manual transmission. The build is based on a Henry Ford steel body and fenders and includes boxed original frame rails, a 4″ dropped front axle, transverse leaf-spring suspension, a new Winters open-drive Banjo rear end. The engine is highlighted by a 4″ stroke, a Navarro aluminum intake and finned heads, tubular headers, and a new fuel system, and the car is further equipped with four-wheel drum brakes, custom leather upholstery, and a chopped top with a new black convertible top.

The burgundy paintwork is complemented by pinstriping and black fenders, and it is further equipped with a chopped windshield frame, new black convertible top, side curtains, and rear-hinged doors.

Cowl lights, a louvered hood, and guide-style headlights are among the other highlights.

The front suspension uses a 4″ dropped axle, while the rear incorporates ladder bars and stainless-steel tube shocks from Pete and Jake’s. The drum brakes were also overhauled.

The 16″ steel wheels are mounted with Excelsior Stahl Radial tires measuring 5.00R16 front and 7.50R16 rear as well as Mercury hubcaps.
