1992 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible Project

The car is finished in Flamenco Red over tan leather upholstery, and its powertrain is comprised of a 5.3-liter V12 and a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes fog lights, a power-retractable black soft top, chromed 15″ basketweave wheels, power-adjustable sport seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and a JVC stereo with Bluetooth.

The car is finished in Flamenco Red and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. The underside of the hood was refinished and the top was replaced in 2020. Photos provided in the gallery below show chipped paint and a cracked rear reflector lens.

Chrome-plated 15″ basketweave wheels were sourced in 2022 and are mounted with 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs, components of which were replaced in 2020. Additional service at that time included overhauling the front and rear suspension, replacing the front wheel bearings, and installing Bilstein dampers. A replacement steering rack was installed in 2024.

The power-adjustable sport seats were reupholstered in tan leather in 2020. Additional appointments include cruise control, air conditioning, and a JVC CD stereo with Bluetooth.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
