1952 Jaguar XK120 Roadster offered at online auction by Repo Vehicle Holdings. Bank-sourced car with a clear title, VIN history report, no buyer fees and a 30-day return window. Open bidding with the full bid history visible.
This 1952 Jaguar XK120 roadster was dispatched to the US via Hornburg Jaguar of Los Angeles, California, in August 1952. Chassis 672631 underwent a color change to red as well as an engine rebuild while with an earlier owner from 1982 to 2013, at which point it was sold to the prior owner and refurbished over a number of years. The car is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and rides on chrome 16” knock-off wire wheels. It is further equipped with electrically assisted power steering and a stainless-steel exhaust system along with a burl wood dash panel and a retrofitted AM/FM radio.
Finished from the factory in Pastel Green, the car underwent a color change to red at some point before being returned to its factory color in 2021. The car wears a tan top boot and is accompanied by a black soft top and side curtains, though the latter are torn and require replacement. Further details include a split front windshield and tri-bar headlamps as well as chrome front bumpers and rear bumperettes.
Chrome 16” wire wheels feature knock-off hubs and are mounted with 185-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, while braking is handled by four-wheel drums. The car was factory equipped with an independent front suspension with telescopic-type hydraulic shock absorbers as well as semi-elliptical rear leaf springs and Girling hydraulic rear shock absorbers. It was retrofitted with electrically assisted power steering under previous ownership, and the suspension was serviced in June 2021.
The re-trimmed cabin features bucket seats upholstered in Suede Green leather as well as a color-coordinated surround, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a Retrosound AM/FM radio as well as a heater, a dash-mounted mirror, a passenger-side grab handle, and door map pockets.
