1958 Porsche 356A Speedster

This 1958 Porsche 356A Speedster was refurbished under prior ownership and has been repainted red over tan leatherette. It is powered by a replacement 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes a black canvas soft top, a top boot, 15″ steel wheels, a driver-side mirror, body-color bumpers, a cabin heater, and bucket seats.

Said to have been finished from the factory in Meissen Blue, the Reutter-built body was repainted red under prior ownership and features a removable black canvas soft top, a top boot, a driver-side mirror, removable side curtains, and body-color bumpers with tubular overriders.

The 15″ ventilated steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Pirelli tires. The car was factory equipped with drum brakes at each corner.

The fixed-back bucket seats are upholstered in tan leatherette, and interior appointments include beige square-weave carpets, Simpson latch-and-link lap belts, a cabin heater, a passenger-side grab handle, and a body-color painted dashboard.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a central 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge monitoring oil temperature and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 2,700 miles, which is not considered to be accurate. Total mileage is unknown.
