1930 Ford Model A Pickup

This 1930 Ford Model A pickup was purchased by a Maine owner in 2011 as a project and subsequently refurbished over the next nine years. It is powered by a 201ci L-head inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission and is finished in cream and black over black vinyl. Equipment includes tan 19″ wire wheels, a side-mounted spare, fiberglass fenders, dual side mirrors, wood bed-side stakes, a wood-slat bed floor, a six-volt alternator, cowl lamps, and interior seatbelts.

The bodywork was repainted cream under prior ownership and has been fitted with black fiberglass fenders. Additional equipment includes a tilt-out windshield, cowl lamps, a Boyce MotoMeter radiator cap, dual side mirrors, a black vinyl roof panel, and a wood-slat cargo bed flanked by wood side rails. The rear glass was replaced in 2012, and the lighting was rewired at that time. Scratches and other imperfections can be viewed in the gallery.

Tan 19″ wire wheels were refinished in 2017 before being mounted with Firestone tires, and a spare is mounted in the left-front fender. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums that were rebuilt in 2015.

The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include seatbelts, electric wiper controls, and a horn.

The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 30 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The steering column and wheel were replaced in 2011.
