The chassis was modified with a Mustang II-style front suspension system with tubular control arms as well as a triangulated rear four-link suspension setup and adjustable coilovers at all four corners. Inside, the bench seat is trimmed in brown vinyl and accompanied by a seat-top console, a Vintage Air under-dash air conditioning system, a RetroSound stereo unit, a tilt steering column, and Dakota Digital gauges. Additional equipment includes a chrome grille, black running boards, a wood bed floor, a rear-mounted fuel tank, power rack-and-pinion steering, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ steel wheels with baby-moon hubcaps and whitewall tires.
The truck is finished in green, and the cab was converted from a three-window to a five-window configuration in 2019 before being refinished. Details include a chrome grille and bumpers, black running boards, and a wood bed floor with black runners and a flush-mounted fuel filler for the rear-mounted fuel tank. An LED light strip is mounted below the tailgate. Paint chips, cracks, and other blemishes in the bed and around the body are pictured in the gallery below.
The truck rides on a Mustang II-style front suspension assembly with tubular control arms, a triangulated rear four-link assembly, and adjustable coilovers at all four corners. The truck has power rack-and-pinion steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. Black-finished 15″ steel wheels wear baby-moon hubcaps and are wrapped in whitewall radial tires.
The cab houses a bench seat upholstered in brown vinyl, along with coordinated door inserts and black carpeting. Interior appointments include a seat-top console, a RetroSound stereo, and a Vintage Air under-dash air conditioning unit.
The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River tilt column and frames a pair of Dakota Digital multi-gauges housing a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, dual digital displays, and readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates approximately 20k miles have been added since the build was completed in 2020.
