Stroppe-Modified, Fuel-Injected 1973 Ford Bronco Ranger 302

This 1973 Ford Bronco Ranger is certified by Baja Broncos of Santa Rosa, California, as having been modified by Stroppe and Associates, California. Finished in Winter Green with a white hardtop over tan and houndstooth upholstery, the truck is also equipped with a Griffin aluminum radiator, a Holley Sniper 2 EFI system, a replacement 23-gallon fuel tank, a dual exhaust system, Stroppe-style five-slot wheels, locking front hubs, a limited-slip rear differential, and a roll bar.

Finished in Winter Green with a white removable hardtop, the truck is equipped with a rear-mounted spare tire, aftermarket fender flares, and chrome bumpers. The hood was repainted under prior ownership. Close-up images of exterior blemishes are provided in the gallery.

The 15″ five-slot wheels are mounted with Yokohama tires. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs. Stopping power is provided by hydroboost-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. Additional work during the refurbishment included installing a 1.5″ Wild Horses suspension lift, a 1″ body lift, Bilstein shocks, and a rebuilt steering box as well as turning the rear drums and replacing the rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes.

The seats are trimmed in tan vinyl and houndstooth cloth. Amenities include a roll bar, lap belts, and a heater. The factory radio does not work. The floor pans were replaced during the refurbishment.

Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
