Single-Family-Owned 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia GL 4-Speed

The van wears a repaint in dark blue over gray upholstery, and power is provided by a water-cooled 2.1L flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a pop-up camper roof, a kitchenette, 14″ wheels, an aftermarket stereo, and a cargo-area storage unit.

Exterior features include a pop-up camper roof, a skylight, sliding side windows, dual side mirrors, a rear window wiper, a rear window defroster, external utility hookups, and a sliding right-side door.

The 14″ wheels are mounted with Capitol tires. The van was factory equipped with an independent front and rear suspension and power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The shocks were replaced in 2019.

The forward cabin features bucket seats upholstered in gray cloth along with color-coordinated door panels. An aftermarket stereo has been installed. The driver’s seatbelt does not retract.

The rear compartment features storage cabinets and a two-passenger rear bench seat. A second bed platform with zip-open windows is housed in the pop top. Camping equipment includes a kitchenette, a sink, a refrigerator, a two-burner propane stove, a storable swivel table, a residential-style power outlet, a water storage tank, and a cargo-area storage unit. The interior panel for the sliding door is loose.
