About this car

The car is powered by a 2.2-liter flat-six linked with a five-speed 901 manual transaxle and is finished in Metallic Blue over black leather. Work since 2021 has involved reupholstering the front seats as well as rebuilding the CDI unit, replacing the spark plugs and wires, and installing Bilstein rear shocks, Koni Classic front strut inserts, SSI heat exchangers, and a stainless-steel muffler.

The car came finished from the factory in Metallic Blue (8410) and features a removable roof panel, a stainless-steel Targa bar, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, front and rear bumperettes, anodized gold rear badging, vent windows, and a driver-side mirror.

The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires measuring 195/65. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners, and the aluminum 911S front calipers were rebuilt in 2013. Bilstein B6 rear shocks and braided stainless-steel brake lines were installed in 2021, and Koni Classic front strut inserts were fitted in 2023. The front wheel bearings and seals were also replaced at that time.

The front comfort seats were reupholstered in black leather in 2021 and the seat cushions were replaced. Interior appointments include a locking glovebox, an AM/FM radio, and a heater. The overhead dome light doesn’t work, the leather strap for the right rear seat is broken, the dashboard and door panel storage bins are warped, and the weatherstripping and driver’s carpet are worn.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and was repaired in 2001. It currently shows 28k miles, approximately 22k of which were added under current ownership. The oil level gauge and clock do not work and the parking brake light is not hooked up.
