About this truck & 4x4

It included installing a replacement 350ci V8 and fitting it with a Holley four-barrel carburetor along with repairing the four-speed manual transmission, frame, and axles, replacing the cab and bed, performing a repaint in light blue and white, adding an oak bed floor, and refreshing the interior with a 40/20/40 bench seat and air conditioning. Other details include a dual-range transfer case, 16″ American Racing eight-hole wheels, manually locking front hubs, and an aftermarket stereo.

The truck was finished from the factory in Light Blue and White, and its replacement cab and bed were repainted during the work, at which time the tailgate, fenders, doors, mirrors, bumpers, and additional trim pieces and moldings were replaced. Further details include bodyside moldings, C20 badging, and a rear step bumper with a Surstep pad.

The Fleetside bed features an oak floor and stainless-steel stripes that were fitted during the refurbishment.

The 16″ American Racing eight-hole wheels are mounted with Wild Trac tires from 2001. The front axle has manually locking hubs. The axles were rebuilt to a gearing of 4.10:1 during the refurbishment, and additional suspension and braking items were changed then. The power steering pump has a leak.

During the refurbishment, a 2000 Silverado-sourced 40/20/40 bench seat was installed, and it is trimmed in dark gray cloth with multi-color inserts, replacing the factory Blue vinyl upholstery. Sound-deadening material, seatbelts, and R134a-based air conditioning were also added as part of the work, and various interior trim items and components, including the carpeting, were replaced then. The door panels have western-scroll accents, and other interior details include a body-color dashboard, an aftermarket AM/FM/cassette stereo, and power locks.
