RUF-Modified 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed

This Porsche 911 Turbo coupe was modified by RUF Automobile GmbH in Germany to their 520-horsepower RTurbo specification in 2001 at approximately 4k miles. The conversion included the installation of RUF bumper covers, spoilers, multi-piece wheels, an integrated roll cage (IRC), pedal covers, and door sill plates, and power is supplied by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a sunroof, cruise control, a Kenwood head unit with navigation and a backup camera, a radar detector, an amplifier, an enclosed subwoofer, a backup camera, and power-adjustable front seats.

The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and was modified with RUF bumper covers and spoilers during the conversion in 2001. The front bumper cover was refinished and the front spoiler reconstructed in 2009 following a front-end accident, and the front lip spoiler was refinished again in 2012. The rear wing hydraulic lift cylinders were rebuilt in 2025, and the hood and decklid shocks were replaced at that time. Road rash is noted on the underside of the front splitter.

The 18” RUF-branded multi-piece wheels were refinished in 2025 and wrapped in Michelin Pilot PS2 tires. Öhlins coilovers were also installed at that time, and additional work involved replacing the rear subframe and front control arms as well as flushing the brake fluid. Braking is provided by red RUF-branded four-piston brake calipers with cross-drilled rotors at each corner.

The cabin features power-adjustable seats trimmed in black draped leather, and matching upholstery extends to the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include a RUF integrated roll cage (IRC), RUF pedal covers, and RUF stainless-steel door sills in addition to automatic climate control, cruise control, a Kenwood Excelon amplifier, and a Kenwood head unit with navigation, a backup camera, and a Passport 8500ci radar detector. An enclosure containing a JL Audio subwoofer is located behind the rear seats. The dashboard was re-covered in 2025.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames RUF instrumentation, including a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level.
