One-Family-Owned 1996 Mazda MX-5 Miata 5-Speed

A major service was performed in August 2026, which involved fluid changes and replacement of the timing belt, water pump, clutch release cylinder, and additional components as detailed below. It is finished in Chaste White with a tan convertible soft top with a glass window over a tan leather interior, and is powered by a 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Equipment includes the Leather Package, 14″ alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, a Sony CD stereo, air conditioning, and cruise control.

The car is finished in Chaste White and features a replacement tan convertible soft top with a glass rear window, pop-up headlights, chrome door handles, painted mirror caps, a power antenna, and single exhaust outlet. The rear bumper cover was repainted in April 2025 by Fusion Auto Paint of Pasco, Washington.

The 14″ alloy wheels were mounted with General Altimax RT45 tires in June 2025. Some blemishes on the wheels are depicted in the gallery. The car is equipped with an independent double wishbone suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel disc brakes. The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather along with color-coordinated door panels as well as a black upper dashboard and center console. Interior amenities include a Sony CDX-GT260MP CD stereo, headrest speakers, air conditioning, cruise control, and power mirrors and windows. The lower seat cushions and door speakers have been replaced, the tweeter speaker covers are missing, and touch-up paintwork is noted on an armrest. An XM satellite radio included in the sale is shown in the glovebox, and an interior cockpit cover also accompanying the car is depicted in the gallery below.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
