Modified 1982 Volkswagen Type 2 Double Cab Pickup

The truck was repainted gray with Martini-style graphics and fitted with a 2.0-liter “AP” inline-four, which is paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 15″ Raw Classics Speed Master wheels with dropped front spindles and power-assisted drum brakes, and the cabin features power-adjustable Mercedes-Benz front bucket seats, air conditioning, keyless entry, power windows and locks, push-button start, a touchscreen head unit, and a custom sound system.

The truck was repainted in the Audi Shade of Nardo Gray during the build, and Martini-style side graphics were added. Replacement glass and LED lighting were also installed, and additional equipment includes black bumpers, clear front turn signal lenses, black door handles and trim, fold-down bed sides, and a 2000 badge on the front radiator cover.

The 15″ Raw Classics Speed Master wheels are wrapped in 185/60 Nexen NPriz GX tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner, and the front suspension has been fitted with 2″ drop spindles. A rack and pinion steering system was added during the modification process.

The cabin houses power-adjustable front bucket seats sourced from a Mercedes-AMG C63 and a custom rear bench trimmed in red leatherette. Black carpets line the floors, and additional appointments include a custom center console with cup holders, air conditioning, power windows and door locks, keyless entry, a push-button start, an EMPI trigger shifter with a Porsche shift knob, and a touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a backup camera wired to a custom sound system.

The four-spoke Porsche steering wheel fronts ODG gauges, including a 160-km/h speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for water temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 1,400 kilometers (~880 miles) since completion of the build.
