Custom 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne 2-Door Sedan

The body is finished in white with a metalflake roof and features shaved body trim, deleted reverse lights, and replacement front and side glass; the car rides on an adjustable air suspension system with twin Viair compressors and Slam Specialties airbags. Power comes from a replacement 283ci V8 paired with a floor-shifted Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes 15″ WheelSmith chrome reverse-smoothie wheels, BFGoodrich whitewall tires, Borgeson close-ratio power steering, power front disc brakes, Global West tubular control arms, and Smithy’s glasspack mufflers. The cabin is outfitted with custom footwell lighting, pleated blue upholstery, a sofa-style rear bench seat, and aftermarket gauges.

Styling modifications include shaved body trim, deleted reverse lights, Mustang GT-style exhaust finishers, and a modified rear Chevrolet trunk emblem reconfigured to function as a reverse light. The windshield wipers do not work, and the wiper switch location has been repurposed for an air suspension bypass switch.

Custom 15″ WheelSmith chrome “reverse smoothie” wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial whitewall tires. KYB rear shocks, polyurethane bushings, and a rear Panhard bar are also installed. Steering is handled by a Borgeson close-ratio power-assisted steering box.

The front bucket seats and sofa-style rear bench are trimmed in custom blue diamond-stitched vinyl upholstery, and matching trim extends to the door panels and parcel shelf. Sound-deadening material was installed throughout the cabin and trunk, and a retro-look stereo with Bluetooth connectivity has been added. The floor shifter has a marble-style shift knob, custom footwell lighting has been installed, and the overhead dome light was deleted.

Equipment for the adjustable air suspension is housed in the trunk, which has been upholstered to match the cabin.
