8k-Mile 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series

The car is powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 19″ AMG multi-spoke forged aluminum wheels, an AMG adjustable coilover suspension, bi-xenon headlights, carbon-fiber trim, COMAND infotainment, navigation, Keyless-Go, and a Harman Kardon sound system with iPod integration.

DTM-inspired flared fenders, carbon-fiber-reinforced front and rear aprons, and a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler were added to the CLK63 Black Series. This example is finished in Obsidian Black and features bi-xenon headlights, heated side mirrors, fender vents, and quad polished exhaust outlets.

The 19″ AMG multi-spoke forged aluminum wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Adjustable coilovers and AMG Electronic Stability Program (ESP) were standard. Stopping power is provided by multi-piston AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.

The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats upholstered in black Nappa leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The rear seats were deleted in Black Series models, and appointments include aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system with iPod integration, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.

The flat-bottom leather-wrapped AMG steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters, and it frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership.
