About this car

This 1969 Dodge Super Bee hardtop was refurbished circa 2021 during a process highlighted by the installation of a 512ci stroker V8, a Cope Racing Transmissions three-speed automatic, and a Strange Engineering S60 limited-slip rear end with 3.73:1 gearing. The vehicle also was repainted in Bright Green and its black vinyl interior was redone. Staggered-width Magnum 500–style 15″ wheels are bolted over Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes adjacent to Calvert shocks. Other equipment includes a black vinyl roof, a Jegs tachometer, a center console, a Hurst shifter, and a retro-style digital stereo as well as a Ramcharger air intake, a QFT 1,050-cfm carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Trick Flow cylinder heads, and TTi headers and a 3″ exhaust system. The Dodge is said to have been sold new by Pendleton Dodge of Springfield, Illinois.

The 512ci stroker V8 was installed in this car in the early 2020s, and it is augmented by the following equipment:

The car’s chassis number indicates that it was originally powered by a 383ci V8.

The Cope Racing Transmissions three-speed automatic was built for this vehicle and has a Coan Engineering 3,500-rpm stall converter and a finned pan. An aftermarket driveshaft with a safety loop directs power to a Dana-style Strange Engineering S60 rear end housing an Eaton Truetrac differential with 3.73:1 gearing.

Black Super Bee–logo stripes encircle the tail of the body, and other exterior equipment includes a black vinyl-covered roof, quad headlights, dual side mirrors, simulated side scoops, rectangular side-marker lights, bright trim, dual exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers. The reverse lights do not work.
