50k-Mile 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL500

The car has 50k miles, and service since has included replacement of the headlight ballasts, soft-top hydraulic cylinders, front wheel bearings, valve cover gaskets, and battery as well as an oil change. Finished in Glacier White over Ash Nappa leather, the car was optioned with the SL2 Package, which added xenon headlights with automatic level control, heated seats, and an integrated trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes a removable hardtop, a black soft top, 18″ five-spoke AMG wheels, a deployable roll bar, seat-position memory settings, a cassette stereo, a Bose sound system, a heated rear hardtop window, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The car is finished in Glacier White (143) and features a matching removable hardtop as well as a black soft top. Additional exterior equipment includes xenon headlights, fog lights, and fender air vents. The soft top has a patch on the lower-left side and a stitching separation on the right side. The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 50k miles.
