About this car

The front and rear windshields were also replaced, and the drum brakes were overhauled. Power is supplied by a two-stroke 356cc inline-twin paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 10″ steel wheels and is further equipped with rear-hinged doors, fender-mounted mirrors, bench seating, and lap belts.

Introduced in 1958 to comply with Japanese kei regulations, the 360 features a monocoque body with a fiberglass roof panel. Previously finished in orange, this example underwent a color change to white with a red roof panel performed as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. A number of trim pieces were also re-chromed.

The 10″ steel wheels are finished in white and wear bright covers. A matching spare and jack are found in the front trunk. The four-wheel drum brakes were overhauled during the project.

The cabin was reupholstered as part of the refurbishment and houses front and rear bench seats trimmed in red vinyl that extends to the door panels. The body-color dash wears a black cover and features an under-dash tray along with controls for the heater. Lap belts are equipped for each occupant.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts an 80-mph speedometer flanked by a fuel gauge and warning lights. The five-digit odometer shows 3k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership.
