About this car

This 1992 Toyota MR2 was fitted with a turbocharged 3S-GTE inline-four and E153 five-speed manual transaxle under previous ownership. Finished in black, the car wears a VIS Racing carbon-fiber hood and rides on 17″ Blitz Type 01 two-piece wheels paired with BC Racing coilovers at all four corners. Inside, bucket seats trimmed in black cloth with patterned inserts are accompanied by a removable glass sunroof as well as a MaXpeedingrods head unit. The engine is fitted with an Arashi Dynamics turbocharger coupled with an aftermarket side-mount intercooler, and further modifications include an AEM cold-air intake, an HKS blow-off valve, an aftermarket downpipe, and a Blitz NUR-Spec cat-back exhaust.

Finished from the factory in Black (202), the car features a removable glass sunroof, pop-up headlights, fog lights, dual side air intakes, and a rear spoiler. Modifications include a VIS Racing carbon-fiber hood, “Kouki” taillights, and LED indicators and side markers. The Carfax report lists a November 2003 damage report noting that the vehicle was inspected after an accident that caused damage to the left-front of the car. There is a hole in the hood, and various scratches, chips, and dings are visible around the exterior.

The 17″ Blitz Type 01 two-piece wheels are mounted with 215/40 front and 245/45 rear Accelera PHI tires. The car features manual steering, a four-wheel independent suspension, and power-assisted disc brakes. Modifications include BC Racing coilovers and Megan Racing tie rods as well as an aftermarket front strut tower brace, rear X-brace, and roll-center adjusters.

The cabin features sport bucket seats trimmed in black cloth with patterned inserts. A MaXpeedingrods head unit has been installed in place of the factory AM/FM cassette unit, an aftermarket rearview mirror is fitted above, and replacement MR2-branded mats protect the floors below. The car retains air conditioning equipment, though the system is said to be disconnected.

The retrofitted three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. A Go Fast Bits G-Force II boost controller is hidden behind a 3D-printed cupholder ahead of the shifter, which is topped by an aftermarket knob. The six-digit odometer is broken and now shows 251k miles. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in October 2025, though it notes that it may be the result of a clerical error. True mileage is unknown.
