The body was removed from the frame and modified with a smoothed tailgate, a cowl hood, shaved drip rails, and flush-mounted door handles before being repainted in metallic gray. Inside the cab, the bench seat is trimmed in red vinyl with houndstooth cloth inserts and accompanied by a RetroSound stereo, aftermarket speakers, and Dakota Digital gauges. Chassis modifications include an aftermarket independent front suspension system, tubular front control arms, adjustable front coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. Additional equipment includes a an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a Hilborn-style air scoop, and aluminum cylinder heads as well as an aluminum radiator and a dual exhaust system with coated headers.
