About this car

This 2001 BMW X5 4.4i Neiman Marcus Edition is one of 50 examples offered through the 1999 Neiman Marcus Christmas Book. It is finished in Impala Brown Metallic over Sand leather and is powered by a 4.4-liter V8 linked to a five-speed automatic transmission. Features include a sunroof, xenon headlights, parking sensors, self-leveling rear air suspension, and 19″ Style 63 wheels as well as a premium audio system, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, and heated front and rear seats.

All Neiman Marcus Edition X5 models were finished in Impala Brown Metallic (418) with titanium trim, Neiman Marcus badging, and chrome kidney grilles. Additional exterior features include a sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, roof rails, a split tailgate, and parking sensors. Close-up photos of the exterior are provided in the gallery below.

The 19″ Style 63 alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires. The vehicle was equipped at the factory with a self-leveling rear air suspension, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), All-Season Traction Control (AST), and Hill Descent Control. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at each corner.

The heated power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Sand Montana leather that extends to the split-folding heated rear bench and door panels. Interior amenities include a premium audio system, auto-dimming mirrors, rear window sunshades, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel fronts a 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,900-rpm redline as well as gauges for instant fuel economy, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital instrument cluster was repaired in preparation for the sale.
