355-Powered 1964 Chevrolet Chevy II 100 2-Door Sedan 4-Speed

Work completed over the following six years included installing a BluePrint Engines 355ci V8, a four-speed manual transmission, a Heidts front subframe, four-wheel disc brakes and adjustable coilovers, and a 9″ rear end. The body was repainted in red, and the cabin was retrofitted with TMI Products black vinyl bucket seats. Further details include a line lock, American Racing wheels, Mickey Thompson tires, an aluminum radiator, and Hooker Super Competition headers.

The front-left parking light remains illuminated occasionally after turning off the headlights.

Chrome 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels are mounted with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires up front and ET Street S/S rubber out back. A mini-tub kit was installed to accommodate the rear wheel and tire package.

The car rides on a Mustang II-style independent front suspension from Heidts that accommodates rack-and-pinion steering, adjustable coilovers, and disc brakes; the latter two are also found at the rear. A line lock is also installed.

The TMI Products front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl and are joined by a replacement headliner, carpeting, and lap belts. Additional interior details include a heater, a Hurst T-handle shifter, a fuse panel mounted inside the glovebox, and a billet aluminum accelerator pedal. The radio has been removed.
