About this car

This 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 has been retrofitted with a Chevrolet-sourced 350ci V8, which sends power through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Further details include a Holley four-barrel carburetor, 15″ alloy wheels, manually locking front hubs, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, roof rails, four Bestop seats, a Pyle head unit, and a heater.

The truck was refinished in Mustard Yellow under previous ownership and features a color-matched removable hardtop with a white roof. Additional details include rear ambulance-style doors, black diamond-plate quarter panel trim, an air horn, a rear-mounted jerry can, roof rails, a rear tow ball, and black rear wheel arch flares. There are signs of corrosion on the right fender and near one of the windows, and the windshield wipers are not working.

The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 32×11.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO tires, and a spare is mounted at the rear. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, power steering, and power-assisted front disc brakes.

The Bestop front bucket seats and two forward-facing rear seats are upholstered in black vinyl and joined by a matching dash pad and door panels. Additional details include a Pyle head unit, a heater, and a roll bar. The removed jump seats are included in the sale.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. A tachometer and a set of auxiliary gauges have been installed. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, less than 1k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
