About this car

This 1966 Ford Mustang fastback was refurbished as a Shelby-style GT350 build by Mustang Restorations, Inc., with the work completed in early 2026. The build incorporates a 302ci roller V8 with an aluminum intake and Holley carburetor, a four-speed manual transmission, a Ford 9″ rear end, four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a Heidts four-link rear suspension, QA1 dual-adjustable coilovers, a chromoly Panhard bar, EPAS electric power steering, Shelby-style side-exit exhaust, and 18″ American Racing wheels. The exterior was redone with white-and-blue paintwork, an R-style front valance, a hood scoop, and quarter windows.

The body was restored and refinished, with Shelby-style exterior details include painted stripes, quarter glass, an R-style front valance, a hood with a scoop, and side-exit exhaust. The restoration also included a new windshield and rear bumper.

The 18″ American Racing wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 245/40 front and 255/40 rear. The car is equipped with power steering and QA1 chrome double-adjustable coilovers. The rear suspension has been converted to a Heidts four-link configuration with a chromoly Panhard bar. Braking has been upgraded to four-wheel Wilwood discs.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a folding rear seat upholstered in Black vinyl with pony embroidery. Woodgrain trim accents the dashboard, and a TMI center console was added. Dynamat sound insulation and a TMI upgraded trunk-decor kit were also installed along with a Vintage Air system and an Alpine stereo.

Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
