About this car

This 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 is a left-hand-drive example that was completed on October 7, 1964, and delivered new to the US via Luigi Chinetti Motors of Greenwich, Connecticut. It subsequently earned Gold Awards at the 2018 and 2019 Concorso Italiano. The car is finished in red over black leather upholstery, and power comes from a 4.0-liter Colombo V12 mated to a four-speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. Equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ Borrani wire wheels, an ANSA quad-exit exhaust, quad headlights, a Becker Europa AM/FM radio, and lap belts. Service performed in 2026 included resealing the engine, installation of an electronic ignition system, a replacement timing chain, clutch disc, and pressure plate, rebuilds of the Weber carburetors and brake boosters, and a fluid service.

Designed by Tom Tjaarda at Pininfarina, the 330 GT debuted at the Brussels Motor Show in early 1964 as a replacement for the 330 America. It features a longer wheelbase and a wider grille than its predecessor, and it was replaced by the facelifted Series II model in 1965.

This example was delivered from the factory in Azzuro, and it was stripped to bare metal, received bodywork, and was repainted red by Bell’s Autosport during the restoration. Details include chrome bumpers, an ANSA quad-exit exhaust, pop-out quarter windows, a driver-side mirror, fender vents, and quad headlights.

The 15″ Borrani wire wheels feature three-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with Pirelli Cinturato HS tires. A matching spare wheel and tire are mounted beneath the trunk floor and can be seen in the gallery. Suspension incorporates Koni shocks at all four corners. Maintenance on the four-wheel disc brake system in 2026 included rebuilds of the dual brake boosters as well as a fluid service.

The cabin features bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black leather along with a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Additional equipment includes a wood dash panel, a locking glovebox, a Becker Europa AM/FM radio, lap belts, and hanging pedals.
