24-Years-Owned 1978 Jeep Wagoneer 401

Powered by a 401ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Quadra-Trac transfer case, the truck is finished in Captain Blue Metallic over gray plaid cloth and blue vinyl upholstery and has a split front bench seat with a fold-down center armrest. The engine is augmented by an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, a K&N air cleaner, and an MSD ignition system. Other features include LED exterior lighting, a roof rack, a receiver hitch, slotted 15″ aluminum wheels, front disc brakes, Rancho shocks, power steering, a Sports steering wheel, an Alpine CD stereo, and a Sunpro tachometer.

LED headlights, fog lights, and an aftermarket LED reverse light have been installed.

Other features include a black “Egg Crate” grille, hood-securing pins, dual side mirrors, roof rails, a roof rack, a roof-mounted air deflector, a receiver hitch, a power tailgate window, bright trim, and chrome bumpers. Rust in the quarter panels and the wheel arches, worn paint, dings, a dent beneath a broken taillight, and other imperfections are pictured in the gallery below.

Slotted 15″ five-hole aluminum wheels are mounted with 235/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires that show date codes from 2022. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums; the calipers and drums are painted blue. Power steering was equipped from the factory. Rancho shocks are fitted.

Pinstriping designs have been been added to the hood and the glovebox.
