This 1997 Ford F-150 XL is a regular cab Flareside 4×4 pickup that remained registered to the original owner in North Carolina through 2025 and now shows 21k miles. Finished in Bright Red Clearcoat over Medium Graphite cloth, the truck is powered by a 4.6-liter Triton SEFI V8 linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes the 4×4 Off-Road Equipment Group, 17″ five-hole cast-aluminum wheels, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning.
The truck is finished in Bright Red Clearcoat and features chrome bumpers, fog lights, black wheel arch trim, mudflaps, and a 6.5′ Flareside short bed with a locking and removable tailgate, tie-down hooks, and 4×4 Off-Road decals. Blemishes are pictured in the gallery below.
The 17″ five-hole cast-aluminum wheels feature chrome hubcaps and are mounted with 265/70 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires. The truck features an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle with leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear anti-lock drum brakes.
The cabin features a 60/40 split bench seat upholstered in Medium Graphite cloth, and other amenities include a vinyl floor liner, a cassette stereo, cruise control, air conditioning, and manual-crank windows. The right door panel reflector lens has broken off.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 21k miles.
