2003 LTI TXII London Taxi EV Conversion

Finished in grey and black, the taxi is powered by a NetGain HyPer9 electric motor paired with a Zero EV single-speed reduction gearbox and connected to an LG 4P3S lithium battery module controlled via an Orion BMS 2 battery management system. Inside, the cabin has been re-trimmed in black cloth with green accents and has a retrofitted instrument cluster and a JVC CD stereo as well as air conditioning, power windows, rear jump seats, and a wheelchair accessibility ramp.

The car is finished in grey with a black-finished hood and black and green side graphics. Further exterior details include a roof-mounted taxi light, a rear window wiper, and side window visors. The roof was recently refinished after removing a previously installed decal.

The 16″ steel wheels wear covers. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by ventilated front discs and self-adjusting rear drums.

The forward cabin features a single driver’s seat upholstered in black cloth with green patterned accents. Matching upholstery extends to the rear seats, and various color-matched green accents adorn the interior. Further appointments include a JVC CD head unit as well as front and rear air conditioning systems, power windows, and rear window defrosters.

A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a retrofitted digital instrument cluster that incorporates a 100-mph speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges.
