1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport AEV 4.0

This 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport was modified by by American Expedition Vehicles when new with ARB front and rear locking differentials, a 3″ suspension lift kit, a rear sway bar, an ARB front bumper, a Warn XD8000i winch, a hardtop finished to match the Intense Blue Pearl Coat bodywork, 16″ ROH five-spoke aluminum wheels, and the Recaro Seating Package. The truck has been driven 54k miles and was ordered with over $4k in options including a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional details include a 4.0-liter inline-six, a dual-range transfer case, rock sliders, and an aftermarket head unit.

The truck is finished in Intense Blue Pearl Coat with a body-color removable hardtop from AEV, who also fitted an ARB front bumper that features a push bar, a Warn XD8000i winch, Auxbeam driving lights, and D-ring shackles. Additional exterior details include a receiver hitch, an aftermarket rear bumper, rock sliders, and taillight guards.

A 3″ suspension lift kit was installed by AEV along with a drop pitman arm, a rear sway bar, front sway bar disconnects, bump stops, Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks, and 16″ ROH five-spoke aluminum wheels with AEV center caps. The latter of which are mounted with 285/75 Cooper tires, and a matching spare wearing a BFGoodrich tire is affixed to the swing-out rear carrier.

Recaro front bucket seats were installed by AEV with the Recaro Seating Package, and they are trimmed in black cloth with light gray patterned inserts and feature AEV logos on the backrests. The fold-and-tumble rear seat is color-coordinated, grab handles are affixed to the padded roll bar, and rubber mats line the footwells. Additional details include an aftermarket head unit with a rearview camera and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as a CB radio, cruise control, and air conditioning.

Mounted on a titling column, the leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 54k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.
