1998 BMW M3 Convertible

Finished in Bright Red over black Nappa leather, the car is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a black convertible soft top, fog lights, 17″ Style 39 wheels, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system, a cassette stereo, a trunk-mounted CD changer, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, and dual-zone climate control.

The car is finished in Bright Red (314) and features a power-operated soft top, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and factory aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. The power mechanism for the soft top was repaired in September 2024, and a paint correction is said to have been completed in late 2025. Paint touch-ups were performed around the body under previous ownership. A video showing the top operation is shown in the gallery below.

Staggered-width 17″ Style 39 wheels were mounted with 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Yokohama Advan Sport A/S + tires in June 2026. The car is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, traction control, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The front struts and rear dampers, and their respective mounts were replaced in August 2024. Additional work under current ownership included replacing the rear brake rotors and the brake pads at all four corners.

The heated power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in black Nappa leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Features include cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a trunk-mounted CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The driver’s seat reclining function does not work, the vinyl on the driver’s map pocket is loose, dead pixels are present on the onboard computer display, and there is an indent in the outer left seat bolster.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 118k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The instrument cluster was removed and sent out for repair in the summer of 2026.
