This 1996 Land Rover Defender 110 was modified into a crew cab pickup configuration during refurbishment work that occurred in Switzerland, and it was imported to the US in 2020. Following its import, additional work included the wiring harness, alternator, starter, water pump, fuel tank, AC compressor, exhaust system, and various steering and suspension components. The Beluga Black truck has 16″ beadlock wheels, a Terrafirma suspension lift, a Safety Devices roll cage, a Puma-style hood, LED headlights and auxiliary lights, and a WARN winch. Inside, the seats were replaced, and a Puma dashboard and climate control system were installed, and further details include a locking center console, power front windows, and a Pioneer touchscreen head unit. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter turbodiesel inline-four linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The body was modified into a crew cab pickup configuration and fitted with replacement doors with heavy-duty handles. Finished in Beluga Black with matching wheel arch flares, the truck is also equipped with a Safety Devices roll cage, a roof basket, a Puma-style hood, LED headlights, roof-mounted LED auxiliary lights, a WARN winch, side steps, and checkerplate trim.
The 16″ beadlock wheels are mounted with 37×12.50″ Maxxis Trepador tires, and a full-size spare is mounted within the bed. A Terrafirma suspension lift kit has been installed.
The replacement front bucket seats are trimmed in black leather with quilted accents and are joined by a matching rear bench, a microsuede headliner, and a Puma-style dashboard. Sound-deadening material was added beneath the replacement carpeting, and additional details include a Puma climate control system, a locking center console, power front windows, a Pioneer touchscreen head unit, and a wood-trimmed steering wheel, shift knobs, and door handles.
