Subsequent cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment work included body repairs, repainting the exterior in Dark Emerald Pearl, and refinishing the wheels and trim in addition to repairing the exhaust, installing new tires, and servicing the steering, suspension, cooling, ignition, and fuel systems. The truck rides on a lifted suspension, KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, and 16″ aftermarket five-spoke wheels. Power is provided by a 4.5L 1FZ-FE inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking center differential. Finished in Dark Emerald Pearl over gray cloth, it is further appointed with a sunroof, a receiver hitch and tow ball, a Pioneer head unit, and Skar Audio speakers.

In 2026, the truck was disassembled and repairs were performed on various body panels before it was refinished in its factory shade of Dark Emerald Pearl (6M1). The black trim components were refinished, the flare seals were changed, and replacement headlamp, rear combination lamp, and left rear side marker light assemblies were installed. The associated invoice is provided in the gallery. Exterior details include a sunroof, a rear wind deflector, and a receiver hitch with a tri-tow ball as well as power-adjustable side mirrors, splash guards, sliding rear-side windows, and a rear window wiper. The windshield was replaced in January 2019.

The truck rides on a lifted suspension and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks. Refinished in black, the 16″ aftermarket five-spoke wheels were mounted with 285/75 Dean Back Country A/T2 tires in January 2024. The steering damper and a steering knuckle were replaced at this time along with the inner tie-rod ends. A remanufactured steering gear was fitted in February 2025.

The cabin features front bucket seats, a second-row bench, and third-row folding seats upholstered in gray cloth. Interior amenities include a Pioneer touchscreen head unit with navigation as well as Skar Audio speakers, cruise control, air conditioning, a digital clock, and power windows and locks.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 130-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 243k miles, approximately 30k of which were added under current ownership.
