About this car

The motorcycle also features a five-speed transmission, an enclosed driveshaft, a secondary ignition coil, a front disc brake, a leading-axle fork, a rear monoshock, a Paralever single-sided swingarm, wire-spoke wheels, a Parabellum clear windscreen, a throttle lock, bar-end weights, two-up seating, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands.

The front fairing, 5.8-gallon fuel tank, and fenders are painted black, while the front brush guard is finished in yellow. The bike is equipped with a Parabellum clear windscreen, a rear grab bar, a rear cargo rack, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands.

Wire-spoke wheels with Akront rims measuring 21″ up front and 17″ out back were mounted with Heidenau tires under current ownership. Suspension consists of a leading-axle fork with yellow-finished lowers and black accordion gaiters in addition to a monoshock attached to the Paralever single-sided swingarm. Braking is handled by a single Brembo caliper mounted over a cross-drilled disc up front as well as a drum out back.

The cross-braced handlebar carries a throttle lock and bar-end weights, and it is mounted aft of instrumentation including a MotoMeter 120-mph speedometer, a matching tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and a central array of indicator lights. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 1k of which were ridden under current ownership.

The air-cooled 980cc OHV opposed-twin was fitted with dual-plug cylinder heads by BoxerWorks of Watkinsville, Georgia, under current ownership. Additional work included a top-end rebuild with replacement valve springs, pushrod tube seals, O-rings, and gaskets as well as installing an additional dual-tower ignition coil, changing the fluids, vapor-honing and rebuilding the dual Bing carburetors with jetting sized for the dual-plug setup, and replacing the air filter, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
