1993 Puch · United States · Lender-owned, lien released
This 1993 Puch 230GE convertible is said to have been delivered new to the Swiss Army and later underwent a refurbishment in Poland before being brought to the US in November 2020. Refinished in black over red leather upholstery, the truck is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes W463 body panels, a red canvas soft top, a jerrycan, carbon-fiber interior trim, heated front and second-row bucket seats, inward-facing rear jump seats, and air conditioning.
As part of the aforementioned refurbishment, the body was stripped before being repainted black, and a W463 front bumper, grille, fenders, flares, exterior lighting, and running boards were installed. The driver’s door handle was replaced in January 2026. A red canvas soft top with tinted windows has been installed, and further details include Mercedes-Benz badging, fog lights, clear corner lights, a trailer hitch, a jerrycan, and a rear-mounted spare tire with a color-coordinated cover.
Machine-finished 17″ Fifteen52 Analog HD wheels have been fitted and are wrapped in 265/65 Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. Service in January 2026 included resealing the front swivel hubs, changing the brake fluid, and replacing the steering damper, track bar, and outer tie rods.
The heated front and second-row seats are trimmed in red leather with diamond-stitched inserts that extend to the door panels and inward-facing rear jump seats. Carbon-fiber trim accents the interior, and appointments include air conditioning, an analog clock, and center console-mounted USB ports. The passenger window regulator, shift knob, and grab handle were replaced in January 2026.
The carbon-fiber- and leather-rimmed steering wheel features red stitching and frames a 180-km/h speedometer and an inoperative 7k-rpm tachometer alongside auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The turn signals do not work. The five-digit odometer shows 7k kilometers (~4k miles), which is said to represent the distance travelled since the completion of the refurbishment. Total chassis mileage is unknown.
