1987 BMW M6

This 1987 BMW M6 was initially registered in California and spent time in several states before it was relocated to Canada in 2019. Powered by a 3.5-liter S38 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, the car is finished in black over Silver Gray leather upholstery. It has been retrofitted with 17″ basketweave alloy wheels, Bilstein rear shocks, and a Kenwood CD stereo. Additional equipment includes a sunroof, a rear spoiler, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, and air conditioning. Work under current ownership included fluid changes, replacing an air conditioning Schrader valve, and recharging the AC system.

The car is finished in black and features a sunroof, fog lights, bright trim, a power antenna, a decklid spoiler, and twin center-exit exhaust outlets. A 2021 invoice in the gallery indicates the front spoiler was repainted, and that work was performed on the left quarter panel at that time. Aftermarket 17″ basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with staggered-width Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. The M6 was equipped from the factory with MacPherson struts up front and a semi-trailing arm suspension setup out back as well as a larger front anti-roll bar than the standard E24 and a rear anti-roll bar. Bilstein rear shocks have been installed in place of the factory self-leveling rear suspension. The front brake rotors and pads were replaced between 2018 and 2019, along with the front hubs and wheel bearings.

The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats and a rear bench upholstered in Silver Gray leather, along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include a Kenwood CD stereo, Coco mats, cruise control, an onboard computer, front and rear air conditioning, and power windows and locks. Replacement door speakers were installed under previous ownership.

The leather-wrapped M-Tech I steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 100k miles, approximately 200 miles of which were added under current ownership.
