1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 5-Speed

This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 is powered by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a dogleg five-speed manual transmission and is finished in Blue-Black Metallic over Anthracite leather upholstery. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, yellow coilovers, Zender wheels, a carbon-fiber front splitter and mirrors, an electric sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, and a Behr air conditioner.

The car left the factory finished in Blue-Black Metallic (199) and features a body-color front air dam, side skirts, wheel-arch flares, and a trunk spoiler with an integrated third brake light. Additional exterior details include a carbon-fiber front splitter and side mirrors as well as integrated fog lights, headlight wipers, heat-insulating glass, a heated rear window, an automatic antenna, and an electric sunroof.

The Zender wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 245/35 rear Toyo Proxes T1R tires. The suspension has been modified with adjustable coilovers, and braking is handled by four-wheel anti-lock discs.

The cabin has been fitted with Recaro bucket seats and the factory rear seats are upholstered in Anthracite leather. Appointments include carbon-fiber door panels, Racetech door pulls, dotted floor mats, power windows, central locking, cruise control, a driver-side airbag, illuminated vanity mirrors, and a Behr air conditioner. Though a Soundstream head unit and Nakamichi CD changer are installed, they do not work.

The Momo steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, an outside temperature indicator, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and instant fuel economy. Auxiliary VDO gauges located in the center stack display oil temperature and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 110k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The headlight switch was replaced and the odometer was repaired in July 2017. Total mileage is unknown.
