1985 Buick Riviera Coupe

This 1985 Buick Riviera is finished in tan with a dark brown landau vinyl roof over Beige leather with microsuede inserts, and power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 that received a replacement PCV valve and valve cover gaskets in May 2026. The engine is paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle, and additional appointments include a remote left-side mirror, 15″ steel wheels with wire covers, front disc brakes, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an electric rear window defogger, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The car is finished in tan with a dark brown landau vinyl roof along with pinstriping and chrome trim. Further equipment includes quad rectangular headlights, Riviera badging, an automatic power antenna, and a remote left-side mirror. An invoice from November 2022 shown in the gallery below notes that components were repaired and refinished.

The 15″ steel wheels wear wire-style covers and are mounted with 235/70 whitewall Vogue Tyre Custom Built Radial VII tires that have a gold accent. The car is factory equipped with four-wheel independent suspension and electronic leveling control at the rear. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The split front bench and the rear bench are upholstered in Beige leather with microsuede inserts, while woodgrain trim adorns the cabin. Further interior appointments include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo, an electric rear window defogger, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. A keypad is located to the left of the steering wheel. The headliner was replaced in October 2022, at which time the sun visors and C-pillars were recovered.

The two-spoke steering wheel has woodgrain trim is mounted to a tilting and telescoping steering column and fronts a horizontally sweeping 85-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a gear indicator.
