1975 Mini Pickup

This 1975 Mini pickup is a left-hand-drive example that is powered by a 998cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Refinished in blue, it is further equipped with black vinyl–trimmed seats, 10″ steel wheels, and an SU carburetor.

The pickup is believed to have been repainted in its current blue finish under previous ownership. Lucas headlamps were added up front in March 2021, and further details include external door hinges, door-mounted mirrors, chrome bumpers, and a drop-down tailgate.

The 10″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with 165/70 Yokohama tires. The truck rides on a dry rubber cone suspension, while stopping is handled by drum brakes at each corner. Brake work in March 2021 involved replacing the front brake hoses, changing the fluid, and adjusting the pedal mechanism.

The left-hand-drive cab features low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl accompanied by color-coordinated dash and door trim. The heater core was repositioned and various hoses were replaced in March 2021. Further appointments include sun visors, sliding side windows, shoulder belts, and black carpets.
