1971 Suzuki TS-90R Honcho

This 1971 Suzuki TS-90R Honcho is finished in green and powered by an 89cc two-stroke single paired with a five-speed transmission. Equipment includes oil injection, a kick starter, an upswept exhaust system, a two-up seat, a chrome cross-braced handbar, trail lighting, 18″ wire-spoke wheels, chrome fenders, and a side stand.

The fuel tank is finished in green with black stripes and a matching side panel, set over a black-finished twin-downtube frame. Features include a two-up seat with a passenger grab strap, a horn, trail lighting, chrome-finished fenders, folding passenger foot pegs, and a side stand. There is a dent in the 1.6-gallon fuel tank, and additional imperfections are shown in the gallery.

The 18″ wire-spoke wheels are laced to hubs with drum brakes and are mounted with older Cheng Shin tires. The suspension consists of a telescopic fork as well as a pair of chrome shocks attached to the swingarm.

The cross-braced handlebar is mounted aft of a 100-mph speedometer with inset indicator lights. A keyed ignition is located under the fuel tank.

The 89cc two-stroke single is equipped with a kick starter, rotary valve induction, a carburetor in the engine side case, oil injection, and an upswept exhaust system with a chrome wire standoff heat shield. Factory-rated output was 11 horsepower and 7.8 lb-ft of torque.
