Subsequent work has involved rebuilding the Weber carburetor and replacing the sway bars, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, fuel lines, and speedometer. Finished in red over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, four-wheel disc brakes, American Racing 13″ slotted wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and lap belts.

The car is finished in red. Exterior features include a black convertible top, a flat hood, a driver-side mirror, side moldings, bright trim, and chrome bumpers with rear overriders.

American Racing 13″ slotted wheels were mounted with Sailun Atrezzo SH406 tires in 2021. Braking is provided by discs at all four corners. The sway bars have been replaced under current ownership.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl. The front headrests and the dash pad were re-covered under previous ownership, and replacement woodgrain trim accents the dashboard and the center console. Other appointments include a cabin heater, front lap belts, sun visors, red carpeting, and black floor mats. The Blaupunkt AM/FM radio works intermittently, and corrosion is evident on the trunk floor.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 85k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership.
