This 1970 Saab 95 Wagon was the subject of an unfinished 2021-24 refurbishment under prior ownership that reportedly included a top-end rebuild of the 1.7-liter V4 along with overhauling the brakes, fitting a side-exit exhaust system and auxiliary lights, and replacing the windshield and tires. The blue exterior has been repainted, and the car is equipped with a four-speed manual transaxle, front disc brakes, 15″ soccer-ball alloy wheels, a roof rack, a heater, and three rows of seating upholstered in black vinyl.
Styled by Sixten Sason, the 95 featured an integrated rear airfoil as well as a liftgate and tail fins. The two-door wagon bodywork of this car was factory-finished in Middle Blue (B7) and received dent repairs and a repaint under current ownership. The lighting wiring was repaired, and exterior details include a replacement windshield, chrome bumpers, amber-lens headlights, front auxiliary lights, dual side mirrors, a roof rack, and splash guards. The liftgate lock does not work, and rust is noted above the rear bumper and below the lower-left corner of the windshield.
Soccer-ball-style 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 185/65 Accelera X-Grip tires. The car is equipped with an independent front suspension with a front stabilizer bar and front and rear coil springs, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums. The brakes are said to still need to be bedded in.
The front bucket seats have been reupholstered in black vinyl and are accompanied by two rows of bench seating. The carpeting and weatherstripping have been replaced, the door panels were reworked, and additional appointments include front-seat headrests, racing-style lap belts, a clock, a dashboard-mounted passenger-side grab handle, and a heater. There is a tear in the headliner, and the cassette stereo does not work.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a VDO 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level and engine temperature, and an additional temperature gauge has been added to the left of the column. The steering-wheel grounding and the fuel gauge were repaired in 2025, and the horn button was replaced. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles, approximately 80 of which were added under current ownership.
