About this car

This 1969 Honda Z50A Mini Trail was refurbished under prior ownership and reportedly spent around a decade in Illinois in a museum on display. The bike is finished in metallic blue with silver accents and is powered by a 49cc four-stroke single paired with an automatic clutch and a three-speed transmission. Details include a height-adjustable solo seat, a kick starter, an inverted fork, a keyed ignition, a chrome upswept exhaust system, trail lighting, silver-finished 8″ steel wheels, a chrome chain guard, and chrome twist-lock folding handlebars and fenders.

The bodywork and backbone frame were refinished under prior ownership in metallic blue with silver accents, and the fork, headlight bucket, and fork ears were painted to match. Additional details include a height-adjustable black vinyl seat, trail lighting, chrome fenders, folding foot pegs, and a side stand.

The two-piece 8″ steel wheels are finished in silver and wear Cheng Shin tires. Braking is handled by front and rear drums. An inverted fork with black gaiters comprises the bike’s only suspension.

The chrome twist-lock folding handlebars are equipped with black levers, bright grips with rubber tips, a twist-grip throttle, and a headlight switch. No instrumentation is present, therefore total mileage is unknown. A keyed ignition is located under the fuel tank.

The 49cc four-stroke single features a kick start and an upswept chrome exhaust system with perforated heat shields. Factory-rated output was two horsepower and two lb-ft of torque.
