1967 Pontiac · United States · Lender-owned, lien released
The interior was reupholstered in 2017, and work since 2022 has included rebuilding the transmission as well as replacing steering and suspension components. Equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a Safe-T-Track limited-slip differential, a replacement Ivory soft top, 14″ eight-lug alloy wheels, power-assisted brakes, power steering, power windows, a Bluetooth module, and a heater.
Pontiac offered a Grand Prix convertible only for the 1967 model year, producing less than 6k. The car was finished at the factory in Montreux Blue (D) and refinished under prior ownership. Exterior features include a replacement Ivory soft top, hide-away headlights, added cornering lights, a driver-side mirror, fender skirts, and chrome bumpers. Flaws include paint finish imperfections and cracks.
The 14″ eight-lug alloy wheels are mounted with 215/75 Hankook Optimo H724 tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel drums. Service in 2026 included resurfacing the front brake drums as well as replacing the steering gearbox, power steering pump, drag link, inner and outer tie rod ends, and left rear wheel bearing.
The bucket seats, rear bench, and door panels were reupholstered in 2017 with Pontiac-spec metallic blue vinyl sourced from SMS Auto Fabrics through Parts Unlimited, and are accompanied by replacement carpeting. Front headrests, seat belts, power locks, power vent windows, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a remote trunk release, and a Bluetooth module linked to replacement speakers were added. Additional amenities include a center console, power windows, replacement burlwood dash appliques, and a heater. The factory radio and accessory 8-track player were modified in February 2017 with an AM/FM conversion kit, auxiliary input, and associated wiring, and have been disconnected to accommodate the Bluetooth module. The power antenna has been removed.
A tilting steering column was added under previous ownership, and the three-spoke wheel fronts a sweeping 120-mph speedometer an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, manifold vacuum pressure, and battery charge. The fuel gauge does not work. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
