An auxiliary fuel tank has since been installed, along with a Pioneer head unit and speakers, a roll bar, and a 2″ suspension lift. Additional work included replacing the carburetor, exhaust system, various engine gaskets, the tires, and the headlights. The truck was repainted in red, following bodywork under previous ownership, and it was fitted with Volkswagen-sourced front bucket seats. Additional equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, a rear bench, dual fuel tanks, manually locking front hubs, and a black removable hard Travel Top. Power is provided by a 152ci inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range twin-stick transfer case.
The truck was refinished in red under prior ownership, and additional work involved repairing rust, patching areas of the floor, and replacing body panels on both sides of the truck. The windshield and mirrors were also replaced. The truck is equipped with a removable black Travel Top, a roll bar, and a half top, as well as a painted front bumper, mesh grille, tow ball, and drop-down tailgate. The headlights were replaced, and the roll bar was installed in 2024. The driver’s door requires force to close, and there is an area that shows signs of rust repair under the tailgate.
The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with Dextero All-Terrain tires, and a spare is mounted to the rear carrier. A 2″ shackle lift has been installed, and the truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs. The shocks were reportedly replaced in 2024, along with the shoes and cylinders for the four-wheel drum brakes. The wheels were repainted in October 2024, and the tires were mounted in August 2025.
The right-hand-drive cabin houses high-back bucket seats sourced from a Volkswagen and a removable rear bench trimmed in black vinyl. The metal dashboard and doors are finished in red, while the rear is finished in black. A Pioneer head unit and speakers were installed; the seatbelts were replaced, along with the hardtop bolts, and the floor liner was refinished under current ownership. The hand-crank windows are stiff, and the cabin fan does not work.
