12k-Mie 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

The car was ordered with over $1k in options including Millennium Yellow Tintcoat paint, the Memory Package, bodyside moldings, and electrochromic mirrors. Power is provided by a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 linked to a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Additional details include pop-up headlights, 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a head-up display, and a Bose sound system.

The C5 Z06 was only offered as a fixed-roof coupe for increased chassis stiffness and featured a quad-exit titanium exhaust system, mesh grille inserts, and weight-saving measures such as thinner glass and reduced sound deadening when compared to the standard C5. This example is finished in Millennium Yellow Tintcoat (79U) with bodyside moldings and features pop-up headlights, heated side mirrors, Z06 fender badges, slatted taillight guards, and rear brake vents.

The Z06 suspension featured a larger front stabilizer bar, increased damping, and a higher spring rate than the standard Corvette. The car is equipped with Active Handling and traction control systems, speed-sensitive rack-and-pinion power steering, and four-wheel cross-drilled and slotted rotors. The 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear tires that show date codes from 2002.

Black leather covers the bucket seats, which feature Z06 logos on the headrests. Rubber mats line the footwells, and additional interior appointments include a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a Bose sound system, a Delco AM/FM/CD stereo, driver-seat position memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, and remote keyless entry.

The driver is aided by a head-up display and cruise control. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column and fronts a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 12k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership.
