10k-Mile 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL63

This 2022 Mercedes-AMG SL63 is finished in Manufaktur Alpine Grey over a Black Nappa leather interior trimmed with carbon fiber. It was optioned with the AMG Aerodynamics, AMG Dark Light, AMG Extended Night, and Driver Assistance packages as well as the Performance Line, Burmester surround sound, a front-axle lift system, 20″ AMG Aero wheels, a Black soft top, and heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats. Power is provided by a 577-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 linked with a nine-speed automatic transmission and an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system.

The car is finished in Manufaktur Alpine Grey (956) and features a power-retractable Black soft top along with a power-deployable rear spoiler. The AMG Aerodynamics Package specified a high-gloss black rear diffuser, an active aerodynamic profile made of carbon fiber, a rear apron with high-gloss black flics on the side air outlets, and a front fascia with larger high-gloss black flics on the air intakes. The optional AMG Night, AMG Extended Night, and AMG Dark Light packages together added high-gloss black fender trim, mirror caps, and side sills as well as darkened headlight and taillight housings and a black chrome grille and badging. Other exterior details include adaptive LED headlights, Surround View cameras, rollover emergency pop-up roll bars, and parking sensors.

Two-tone 20″ AMG Aero 10-spoke wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The car is equipped with a front-axle lift system, rear-axle steering, an Active Ride Control suspension, and an AMG three-stage Electronic Stability Program. Stopping power is provided by yellow AMG-branded multi-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors.

Black Nappa leather (801) trims the heated, ventilated, and massaging multicontour front seats, while AMG carbon-fiber trim accents the center console and door panels. The cabin is further appointed with a Burmester surround-sound system, Airscarf neck warmers, dual-zone climate control, illuminated sill plates, ambient lighting, Guard 360 vehicle protection, and an 11.9″ infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and augmented video for navigation.

The heated leather-trimmed AMG Performance steering wheel features AMG Drive Unit dials and paddle shifters and frames a configurable 12.3″ digital instrument cluster with an odometer that indicates 10k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. A head-up display projects critical information onto the windshield. The suite of electronic driver aids includes Distronic Active Distance Assist adaptive cruise control, Pre-Safe rear-end collision protection, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Blind Spot Assist.
